Buma Music in Motion - The one-day event solely dedicated to the innovative use of music in media that brings together the very best minds and talents in the creative industries.
This high-intensity celebration of sonic innovation and craft will be held at the multi-function arts venue the Tolhuistuin, which is affiliated with the famous Paradiso music club. BMIM is a highly social event where you can get up close and personal with top name keynote speakers, share knowledge, do business and discuss the latest developments and future of these ever changing scenes.
Buma Music in Motion brings together the very best minds and talents in the creative industries. Over the past 7 years, some of the world’s most influential composers, music media executives, producers, synch agents, music supervisors, creative directors and many more have participated in Buma Music in Motion, including: composer Hauschka (Lion); Adidas’ Daniel Cross; composer Dickon Hinchliffe (Peaky Blinders); composer Cliff Martinez, also well known as the drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers; Bobby Gumm, music supervisor for trailers like Gravity, Frozen, Godzilla; the legendary Professor Thomas Dolby, musician, entrepreneur and futurist; Sony Playstation Music Supervisor Duncan Smith; OK Go's digital strategist Mike Rosenthal; leading Dutch composer Stephen Emmer; composer of the Angry Birds theme Ari Pulkkinen; Dexter music supervisor Gary Calamar; Henry Daw from Microsoft and many more.

To attend Buma Music in Motion as a conference delegate you need to be registered. The 1-day registration includes access to the online delegates database.
You can reach Amsterdam in a number of different ways, and we are happy to help with both your arrival and departure from the city. Whether you will travel by plane, car or train Amsterdam is easy to access from all around the globe.
Public transport from Amsterdam Central station
Follow the signs to the ferry. Please take ‘Buiksloterwegveer’ ferry which will depart every 5 minutes. When you leave the ferry you can see Tolhuistuin at the left side.
The area is also accessible by car but we strongly advice public transportation.
There is a parking area behind Eye which costs €1,- for half an hour. Please navigate to Tolhuisweg 5. Or park your vehicle next to Amsterdam Central Station at Parking Garage IJDock for €10,- a day.

Food & drinks
Drinks are being served at the bar in the foyer next to the Concertzaal.
A secured wardrobe is available at the ground floor, across the registration desk. The organization accepts no liability for damage or loss property.
All conference panels have a limited capacity, access may be denied.
